Head of Sales - Escorted Touring - London/Field Based. An excellent opportunity for a senior sales professional with experience of leading a team and selling to the UK travel trade to join this award winning business. The role will be London based 2 days a week and field based 3 days per week.
Head of Sales Responsibilities
Reporting to the Sales Director, you will be responsible for leading a team of trade sales managers, provide coaching and performance management as well as ensuring their individual sales strategies are designed to meet company objectives. You will be tasked with delivering growth through UK trade partners, managing a selection of national accounts/consortia, preparing periodical sales reports and contributing the the annual budgeting process. You will ensure there is a consistent approach with internal stakeholders including marketing and call centre, keep abreast of new product launches and ensure marketing collateral is issued to agents in a timely manner.
Head of Sales Skills Required
- First hand experience in the escorted touring sector
- Experience of leading a high performing sales team
- Track record of driving travel trade sales strategies
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Flexible to travel 3 days a week and be London based 2 days a week
