Business Development Manager - Corporate Travel - Field Based. A fantastic opportunity to work for a highly reputable, 'top-ten' Travel Management Company, where you will be responsible for selling to large national and multi-national prospects. There is flexibility around where you are based and travel will be required as part of the role.
Business Development Manager Responsibilities
You will be responsible identifying and prospecting new opportunities, focusing on large, multinational accounts with annual travel spends of £500k+. This is a 'hunter sales' role but one that is done in a consultative manner whereby you seek to understand the client needs and consultatively sell solutions on offer which are not just limited to business travel but include technology solutions, traveler tracking, and MI to name a few.
Business Development Skills Requires
- Experience B2B sales within the corporate travel sector
- Consultative selling skills with the ability to listen, adsorb information and match the right solutions to client needs
- Strong presentation skills
- Highly motivated and a self-starter
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships
Business Development Manager Package
Highly competitive basic salary (flexible and in line with experience), car or car allowance plus an uncapped bonus with amazing earning potential. You are able to be home/field based but regular travel to visit clients across the UK will be required.
